Wincomm Unveils WPC-789-PSI, an Edge AI Medical Image Platform

Wincomm, a leader in medical computer design and manufacturer, is pleased to announce the launch of the WPC-789-PSI Edge AI Medical Imaging Computer. Designed to address the demanding requirements of hospital automation, medical equipment, and superior medical imaging systems, the WPC-789-PSI combines Intel® 12th Gen. Core™ processors with comprehensive I/O options, supporting up to Nvidia RTX-6000 Ada to deliver exceptional performance and reliability in medical environments. 

High Performance & Expandability
Powered by Intel® Core™ i9/i7/i5 processors and the W680 chipset, the WPC-789-PSI can effortlessly handle intensive workloads. Its four DDR4 3200 MHz memory slots (up to 128GB) support ECC or non-ECC modules for enhanced stability. For storage, it features two M.2 M-Key PCIe Gen4 SSD slots and one SATA3 SSD slot, meeting high-speed data demands. Expansion slots (PCIe x16, x8, and x4) accommodate GPU or network cards, such as Nvidia RTX-6000/4000/2000 Ada, making it ideal for 3D imaging and augmented/virtual reality applications in medical diagnostics and surgical settings.

The WPC-789-PSI supports up to three displays via HDMI, DisplayPort, and VGA. Extensive connectivity includes two USB 3.2 Gen1 ports, five USB 3.2 Gen2 ports, one USB 3.2 Gen2 Type-C port, two COM ports, and three RJ-45 network ports supporting 2.5Gb Ethernet. Integrated Intel® AMT/VPro technology facilitates efficient remote management.

Rugged Durability & Certification
Housed in a robust SECC steel chassis, the WPC-789-PSI meets EN60601-1-2 (V4.1) medical certifications, ensuring safe operation in healthcare environments. It withstands temperatures between 0°C and 40°C, tolerates shock and vibration, and carries global certifications (CE, FCC, UL, cUL) for medical use.


Flexible Customization
Wincomm offers versatile customization options, including Wi-Fi 7 modules, 2.5-inch SSD modules, support for Windows 10 IoT Enterprise and Windows 11 IoT LTSC, and a 7-inch touchscreen. These choices empower customers to tailor the system to specialized applications.
