Wincomm Unveils Intel 13th Gen POC All-in-One PC Series with Enhanced Features for Medical Environments

Wincomm Corporation has officially introduced its latest series of medical all-in-one panel PCs, the WMP-15P/19P/22P-IP54/24P-IP54, now equipped with the Intel 13th generation processors (Code name: Raptor Lake). This series offers advanced configurations including optional UPS batteries, designed to support general point-of-care (POC) applications in various healthcare settings.

The series features a range of screen sizes including 15.6, 19, 21.5, and 23.8 inches, all with touch screen capabilities. These PCs are enhanced with anti-bacterial housing and provide multiple storage options: dual storage systems, an M.2 NVMe SSD, a 2.5” SSD/HDD, and expansion capabilities via a PCIex4 slot for additional cards, and an M.2 E Key for integrated WiFi and Bluetooth connectivity. Connectivity options are extensive with up to six USB ports, six COM ports, and dual display support through HDMI/DP, which is catering to the needs of a connected healthcare environment, including clinics, digital hospitals, and care homes.

The series boasts rigorous medical certifications and features designed to enhance operating safety and durability in demanding medical environments. This includes UPS batteries for uninterrupted power, waterproof and anti-bacterial housing rated at IP65 front, and specific models within the series rated at IPX1 rear for the WMP-15P/19P and IP54 rear for the WMP-22P-IP54/24P-IP54. These features make the PCs ideal for a wide range of medical applications, from diagnostics and surgery to patient care and examinations.

The PCs offer a choice between a 10-core, 4.6 GHz Intel Core i5-1335U or a 5.0 GHz Intel Core i7-1355U processor, both equipped with Intel UHD Graphics Intel® Iris® Xe. A 15W Celeron configuration is also available upon request. The displays support 10-point projected capacitive touch and are available with anti-glare enhancements if needed. Additional features include dual speakers ranging from 2W to 3W, a user-friendly hot-key design with a screen-freezing option for easy cleaning, and customizable options such as a light sensor for auto-dimming or a 3 or 5-megapixel autofocus camera. The series also supports a wireless WiFi/Bluetooth module via an M.2 E key slot and offers an expansion slot with a maximum of 40W on PCIe x4.

Passed with the latest medical EMC and Safety certifications, it is ready to be used in all kinds of hospital applications. This series of all-in-one PCs is designed to significantly enhance processing efficiency, thereby reducing overall costs and improving care quality in medical facilities.
