Wincomm announces Intel 5th gen. Core i Broadwell CPU platform WLP-7D20-H Series for semi-outdoor environment

For semi-outdoor environment and outdoor kiosk needs, Wincomm has added the wide temperature, high brightness, and fanless industrial panel PC, WLP-7D20-H series, with high-end Intel 5th generation Broadwell CPU platform. The full flat panel PC comes in two sizes 15''/19'', wide temperature -20℃ to 60℃and high brightness to 1000 nits. Compared to the competitors models only having 350 nits, the WLP-7D20-H wide temperature high brightness series will be more suitable for semi-outdoor environment HMI automation system.

In wide temperatures environments, there are typically two priorities: High temperature thermal design and low temperature preheat circuit. Wincomm products have excellent heat dissipation capacity in high temperature environments due to its heat pipe design with a coefficient as high as 7000 W/mk. The CPU can run at full speed during turbo mode without CPU speed throttling. For low temperature environments, the WLP-7D20-15/19H motherboard's preheating circuit ensures for a circuit warm-up and system start-up. WLP-7D20 H series can be guaranteed to turn on in low temperature environments within 3 minutes. Users also do not have to worry about motherboard components failure caused by low temperatures. The peripheral components of this system, such as the LCD, touch, RAM, SSD were all rigorously selected for their wide temperature range designs and capabilities. WLP-7D20-15/19H are assured to run continuously in environments between -20℃ to 60℃.

Fanless design is always a selling point for an industrial panel PC. WLP-7D20-H series are equipped with an Intel CPU Core i5-5200U( Passmark CPU : 3488 ), supports up to 16 GB of DDR3L-1333 memory, and has a 128GB SSD. In addition, the WLP-7D20-H series exterior housing can be customized to suit the application. The housing can be changed to Open frame housing or Chassis type housing, and the front bezel can be replaced with a silver color or with stainless steel, in accordance to the customer’s needs.

In product certification, WLP-7D20-H series have passed FCC, CE (EMC), VCCI Class B certification standards which is better than those of most competitors. Class B has stricter electromagnetic waves standards, which results in an upgrade from industrial usage to home usage. Our users have a higher protection level in their health and safety from the electromagnetic waves while using the WLP-7D20-H series
